Email marketing is a great way to convert people on your list to paying customers. But, did you know that the majority of newbie online business owners have no idea of the effectiveness of email marketing?
Email marketing is a simple procedure. A person will read your article that you have written and click through on your link offered at the bottom of the article. This link sends the reader to your squeeze page where they choose to join your list. Then you begin your email campaign by sending them information about your website and products that you offer or other pertinent information that they should know about your niche.
Here are 3 surefire tips that will ensure that your email marketing campaign is a success:
1) Concentrate on techniques that work. The purpose of an email campaign is to build a trust with your subscriber so that they will become your customer. Only write about positive information regarding your product and don't concentrate on any negative aspects if there are any.
2) Be specific about your product. Write the proper information to the people who signed up for your list -- they signed up for a specific topic so give it to them. Don't send information about Product B to people who signed up to learn about Product A. However, if the information for both products is generic, then giving them new information is OK and it might lead to the sale of another product!
3) Keep Your Customer Informed. Even after the reader becomes your customer and has purchased Product A, continue to send them information about the product. And, if you have another product that supports or can be used in conjunction with product A, then you can slowly begin offering information about product B, C and D.
If product A does what you said it would and helped solve your customer's problem then you have built up an amazing trust between you which makes the customer more likely to make further purchases from you with your other products.
