Ecourse are great because of their design.  Oh sure, the information they provide should be good as well, but the ecourse concept is the intriguing part of the whole equation.

Most people who have done any kind of internet research know the average person stays on a website for less than 10 seconds.  Anyone who has had anything to do with sales knows it's tough to sell someone something in 10 seconds or less.  That's why most sales folks don't even pay attention to the first 3 or 4 "no's" they get.  It's after the 3rd or 4th "no" when the selling really starts.

Now, because they already said "yes" to you (to receive your ecourse), you aren't even concerned with the first 3 or 4 "no's" we discussed earlier.

Now all you do is provide a link back to your website, or someone else's website that you're promoting, and bingo, people will almost WANT to go there.  AND, because they are interested in the subject already, they more than likely will stay on that site more than 10 seconds. 

Oh, and if you do it right, those 10 seconds will be spent with the folks actually buying stuff from that site, which is why we're in business to begin with right?

Concepts are a big part of putting together a profitable website and profitable ecourse.  Understanding them will cause the average person to head straight for your site, which is what you want them to do to begin with!
