Question: Which is better to do with your ecourse: deliver a brief autoresponder with a link to a pdf, link to webpage, or have the content in body of autoresponder?
Keep in mind that all these ways are fine for delivering an ecourse, there is not one better way than the other. Each on has benefits and each one has drawbacks.
Let's take each one and discuss it in terms of ecourse pro's and con's.
Link to a PDF: The pro to this is your subscriber can actually print this out and keep in some sort of folder. They can also download the PDF to there hard drive as well for future, easy to get to viewing. The con is if they don't have a PDF opener program or they can't open files at their office (which is where some folks get their emails).
Link to a Webpage: The pro to this is you have a lot more options to offer something within the webpage all at the subscribers fingertips. They can click on links that attract them and you can even have your affiliate links on the page somewhere (which I recommend). The con is people are so bombarded with links nowadays they may not want to bother opening another link. If their attention doesn't get grabbed right away, they won't open the link.
Content in Body of email (autoresponder): The pro to this type is you're making it easy for the subscribe to receive, they don't have to click to anything, it's there for them. The con is if it's long, people may not read the whole thing.
You see, each type has its good points and not so good points, but that's the nature of the beast, so to speak. If you can do a combination of each, that would be best.
Ultimately, having your ecourse AVAILABLE in some sort of form is the best way to go! Once it's out there, then come back and tweak the format to your liking.
