There is an art to creating an ecourse from a book you may be reading. Let me go through how it could be done.
Let's assume the book isn't one you've written, so I'll take it from there.
First of all, if you're wanting to create an ecourse from that particular book, the obvious thing to me would be to get some sort of affiliate link to the purchase of that book. Heck, since you're utilizing the methods within that book, may as well make some money with it as well, right?
OK, now let 's get this going. The simplest way to create an ecourse from this book is to simply summarize each chapter of the book and make each summary an episode of your ecourse. For instance, of the book has 10 chapters, your ecourse can have 10 episodes. Also, there's no rule about combining summaries into one episode. If the book has 100 chapters, chances are you probably don't want to have a 100 episode ecourse on that book. That would be a bit overkill, wouldn't it?
Combine several summaries together and have a 10 episode ecourse. That's a lot easier for someone to comprehend than having 100 parts coming flying at them. Besides, that's a lot of work for you with not much pay off. If you want to do that, go right ahead, but I don't recommend it.
Another thing you can do is take the ideas of that book and create an ecourse based on your interpretation of that book. For instance, if it's a "how to" type of book, use your own spin or interpretation of doing that "how to" and present it in your own words. You can then either have folks pay for this ecourse to get these ideas of yours or link to the book itself (using your affiliate link of course).
