Ebooks - Are They Worth It?

Expert Author Ethan T Hyde

An Ebook is simple, an electronic book. It is generally the same length as a regular hard copy although it is published through, and readable on computers.

Ebooks have become extremely popular in the last few years, they are a lot cheaper and a lot easier to get, and with 78% of America having a computer, the market is huge.

The main benefit of Ebooks is the accessibility. If you have an internet connection, you can almost get any book you want on any topic. Many companies have recognised this and business is booming. For example, since Amazon's introduction of the Kindle, Amazon has sold more Ebooks than regular hard copy adult books (Source: The Economist) and shows no sign of slowing down.

So how can you cash in on this amazing opportunity?

Simple, find a topic you love and write about it. You can even pay someone else to write it for you and you keep 100% of the profits!

You can even write a short Ebook about what your company or business does, or even a upcoming promotion, the list is endless. Given that over 365 million people own a computer, your Ebook has a high chance of being purchased.

Where Do I Start?

Choose your subject. Many people are now writing about their hobbies, and given that many people share the same hobbies this is a great idea. For example, if you are good at painting, write an Ebook on painting. You could write an Ebook on surfing, weight loss, mechanics, marketing, your own personal business, how to write an Ebook, or raising children. It is only limited by your imagination.

Once you have picked your topic, you need to find the correct software to help you publish your book. Many companies are offering free software although I do not recommend this as they tend to lack some of the qualities of paid software, not mention ads popping up ever 30 seconds. The other alternative is paid. I believe this is the best way to go. Although if you are short on cash, a free version will work until you can afford to purchase a more professional version.

I personally have tried multiple Ebook publishing programs and they have all been good in their own right.

My experience has been the more expensive it is, is not necessarily the better software. Writing a book is not a complex task and a lot of companies throw in so many extras you don't know what to do with them.

The bottom line is, if it's too confusing don't buy it.

A software must be simple to use, with great features such as, security features, the ability to style your pages however you like, file converters, adding pictures, and easy to use editing to name a few.
Now you are on your way to creating your first Ebook. I hope this article has provided a bried insight into how you can start making money very quickly using Ebooks. If Amazon is doing it, there must be some money to be made.

If you are keen to start making money now then you need to take action today.
