Okay, let me tell you about easy magic tricks, they're not as good as a truly difficult magic trick. That's because, they're better. Here, let me break it down for you...

As a general rule, the people watching you do magic think that you are doing something really hard. They think that magic tricks are hard. They aren't. They are most of the time really simple in their execution. So, the simpler the trick is, the more your audience will be mystified.

The people watching you are trying to figure out the complicated ways or really clever methods you are using. What they don't know is it was really simple, and that's why they aren't figuring it out.

I've had people tell me that I'm fooling them because they think my hand is quicker than the eye. What total BS! The hand is not quicker than the eye. It's always much more simple than that. There are many easy magic tricks. Here, I will give you an example of one right now.

Take a deck of cards and shuffle. Draw a card off of the top and hold it out to the spectator. Tell them that you will "read" the card based on their reactions to it.

Then you correctly name the card.

Here's how to do it. Hold the card on the top and bottom with thumb and fingers. Squeeze the card so that it bends. Now if you hold the card at a slight angle, you will be able to see what it is. You get away with this motion by gently moving the card from side to side to show everyone at the table.

Then you get a glimpse of the card, and declare what it is!

Want to know more about the magic tricks I use? I have just recorded 4 videos showing my favorite tricks.
