EDC Gold is a work at home Internet marketing business that has been around since December of 2006.

In order to join the EDC Gold program you will need to pay your sponsor $997. In addition to paying your sponsor $997, you will also have to pass up your first 2 sales to your sponsor, before you are considered fully qualified. For those of you that are new to Internet businesses, this is what we call an Australian 2 up program, or pass up business. Then after you pass up your first two sales to your sponsor there is no incentive for them to mentor and help you with any additional sales. Your sponsor will no longer make any money on any of your future sales, so they will disengage themselves from your activities.

After becoming a fully qualified EDC Gold member you will gain access to all of their products. This training material will help you, so you can become an efficient Internet marketer. The two owners Greg Garcia, and Michael Corcoran put some great training products together, in order to expedite the learning curve.

An EDC Gold member will also have the ability to sell these products that are available in the back office for whatever price they choose. However, a member would make most of their money on selling the membership packages, since it would be so much easier to advertise traffic to your landing page for the memberships verses the individual products. Then you will also receive a healthy commission verses a small commission on individual items. However, this would be solely up to each member on how they want to market their business.

In conclusion, I think that the EDC Gold program has great potential for earning a healthy income while working from home. They also have some great products for teaching new Internet marketers without much experience. However, I was not too impressed with their compensation plan. I never was a big fan on passing up my first two sales to my sponsor, since I did all of the work in making the sales.
