Dream Big For Your Future Success

Many people remain largely poor and financial dwarfs and unsuccessful because of their limited capacity to dream. They either have small dreams or no dreams at all. Limited dreams lead to limited success because you cannot hit where you have not targeted. When you have no dream, you can be taken anywhere and by anybody. This article is written to motivate you to dream big and keep the focus if you are to be successful in your life.

Joseph dreamed a high position of leadership at a tender age of 17 and saw both his parents and brothers bowing down before him. He believed in his dream despite the fact that he was the 2nd youngest of his 12 brothers. When he shared his dream with the family members, he was rebuked and told to forget about that nonsense! The young man was actually hated, despised and nick-named "the dreamer" by his family members. His brothers did what was possible to prevent Joseph from achieving his dreams but they could not succeed. They actually planned to kill him with all his dreams but the living God protected Joseph from death, instead he was sold to Egypt where he spent most of his time working as a house boy in Potiphar's home. Washing the household dishes and despised by all the members but kept his big dreams.

Things did not work out well in Potiphar's family for Joseph. Potiphar's wife also tried her best to divert Joseph from his big dreams but he refused and remained focused. She wanted to sleep with the young and handsome man to shutter down all his dreams but Joseph could not accept such nonsense. He was later imprisoned with all his dreams. Joseph suffered, slept poorly, fed poorly with all other prisoners but kept focused to his big dreams. All the physical, emotional and psychological suffering that Joseph went through while in prison did not change his big dreams. He remained focused and looked for opportunities in all these difficulties. He actually became a source of blessings to his fellow prisoners until his time to come out of the prison came to pass. He was released from the prison and achieved his big dreams after a period of more than 20 years.

It was Joseph's persistence, endurance and trust in his God that kept him focused to his big dreams. He kept on the right track for several the years until he achieved his big dreams of his life. He finally became the Prime Minister of Egypt and the savior not only of his family members but also of the whole Egyptian community. He became a powerful leader in a foreign country which, is usually against the law. His parents and brothers came and bowed down to him as per his dreams. What a faithful God we serve! How big are your dreams? What are you going through? Dream big, keep the focus and persist. You never know one day you may become the Joseph of your family and country. Do not allow the hardships, discouragements and unfavorable circumstances prevent you from achieving your dreams. "Shoot for the moon. Evening you miss, you will land among the stars" Less Brown said.
