Don't Get Distracted

With all the information out there, it's easy for a beginner to get overwhelmed when researching about creating an income online.

Typing "make money online", in speech marks, into Google alone yields over 11,000,000 and without the speech marks, 423,000,000 results!

Plus it's easy to get intrigued by every marketer online who is marketing ways to make money, to put your name and email into their squeeze page only to find what they're giving away won't work for you only to get bombarded by lots of offers of software and eBooks by other people claiming they've found "the next best thing".

And there always seems to be something that stops you going ahead on using the free information they've given you that they promise will make you money. It could be pay per click advertising and you just don't have the money to be able to afford it, for example.

From my own experience, I've found it too easy to be sucked into claims that people can make me money, only to put my email in and find that I've got the information, something vital is missing and in order to find that out, I have to pay them x amount of money in order to actually make money online.

This becomes especially overwhelming when the person you have given your email address to keeps sending you emails about products that they "couldn't believe" would make them money until they gave it a go.

You even get the same products being promoted to you by different affiliates and so end up getting the same emails several times over. The amount of times I've just selected the email and clicked delete, because I've recognised the subject as a product I've been told about before.

I do say all this as a beginner so obviously; it'll change with experience. But if there are any other beginners reading this, I suggest you find one way of making money that has been proven to work for others, or that is legit and stick at it, rather than see that whilst it may not be working at the moment, it will work if you stick at it and don't give up instead of being distracted by something else that comes along.
