There are many companies out there selling large volumes of website traffic for very low prices. Although this is a very tempting offer that I've been roped in to several times. It is in no way worthwhile. Speaking from experience I have bought a lot of these tempting offers and although I've had big traffic numbers on my site it didn't do anything for sales. It is pointless to have traffic if none of the traffic is making you money. There are several great free techniques I use to gain quality traffic that converts in to sales. In the following article, I am going to go through some of the best techniques to get quick traffic using safe free methods.
The first method is article writing. This is the method I use the most to get free traffic to my site. Start writing articles everyday about any topic related to your website. Put in a resource box at the end that has a link to your website and you have traffic. It's that easy. The key to this strategy is mass. So write at least one article a day (I write three) and submit it around to various article directories. To find good article directories just search on Google and you should be able to find a ton of good ones. Don't make it harder than it really is just get out there and start submitting articles!
The second technique I like to use is video submission. Obviously YouTube is the best site for video submission but there are many other great sites out there. Again do a Google search to find good video sites. I use a site called tubemogul.com to submit my videos to multiple video sites for free. This site works very well to submit videos. I like to make a video based off of the information I cover in my articles, so if I am writing one article per day, I'll make one video a day. Just like with article writing this is a good technique in mass so do it a lot.
My third and final technique I'm going to cover, which ties everything together, is social bookmarking. Find a good list of social bookmarking sites by searching then post the links to your articles and videos on these social bookmarking sites. This will get good traffic to your videos and articles and boost your total traffic even more.
Now that you have these three techniques down it is time to take action. Start doing these three things every day and you will see a lot of success with your traffic growth. The process is simple. Submit an article, submit a video and social bookmark the links from both of these sites. Good Luck!
