Yes, I admit it, I am a dog lover. Not just a dog lover, but a recovering over-the-top dog lover who has, in the past, been known to throw a dog birthday party or two. Now that I have 3 human kids, it is a thing of the past. But I am still a good, loyal dog's biggest fan. So, yes, dogs deserve their own scrapbook album. They are a member of the family, after all. Here are a few dog scrapbook page ideas to get you started on your own album.
A scrapbooking album should, in my humble opinion, not just be a big book of pictures thrown together with pretty papers. It should express why the subject of the book is special. Why the featured picture is special.
If you have a new pet, one way you could start a dog scrapbook is to write a short note explaining how and where you got your dog. You should also express why you chose that particular dog. What made him immediately special? This begins a dog album on a positive and sweet note, letting those who may look at it know how you feel about your dog.
If you are putting together a page in your scrapbook with a special picture of your dog, write a short note explaining why this picture is special. Is it a trick your dog has mastered? Is it a look that your dog gets that makes you laugh? Is the dog worried about a crying baby? Is he caught somewhere he shouldn't be? The list could go on and on. You could even make a caption or title that explains the picture in a funny or cute way.
When putting together your dog scrapbook, keep in mind that you will want to share it. Coming up with dog scrapbook page ideas should be easy if you tell the story of how special your dog is.
