The trauma of a breakup is one of the hardest things in the world to deal with. Many things happen-we lose self-esteem, self-confidence, and are in the emotional upheaval. Do you want your ex back? If so, ask yourself these questions.
Want them back for the right reasons
Often, the reasons for a breakup are valid and genuine. Perhaps your ex exhibited behaviors that just didn't sit well with you. They may have had deep-seated psychological problems that you were not aware of until you got to know them better. Whatever the reason, once the pain of the breakup has lessened to a point where you are able to think clearly, it is time to identify the reason for the breakup.
Not everyone is compatible. The laws of nature dictate that people are generally attracted to one another because of the laws of nature. In almost every instance, it is sexual attraction that draws us to another person. This is simply nature's way of sustaining the species. Although that may be a simple mistake approach, it is really our most basic instincts that draw us to another person.
Why Relationships Go Sour
It is not uncommon for a relationship to go sour after the initial thrill of sexual contact begins to become an everyday thing. It is after this happens that the couple begins to get to know one another, and behavioral issues can arise.
It is then that we begin to wonder whether or not the relationship is worth it. Many times, it is little things that make us begin to resent our partner. No two of us are alike-we think differently, we have different ways of doing things, and they are unique to us. This is what makes us individuals.
Often, these differences are what will make a relationship go bad. Many times, a partner in the relationship is unwilling to compromise or make changes that affect the relationship. This only leads to more resentment. Soon, the relationship doesn't look as glamorous as it did in the beginning. The grass starts becoming greener on the other side of the fence, we bicker and fight with our partner, and feelings are hurt.
Don't Want Your Ex Back For The Wrong Reasons
If the relationship becomes abusive, it is time to get out. If the relationship ends for this reason, the biggest mistake you could possibly make would be trying to get your ex back.
If you want to get your ex back, do so for the right reasons. Examine the relationship thoroughly if you find that there are many more minuses than there are pluses, it's time to move on.
Never go back to your ex for the wrong reasons. You may feel after the breakup that you cannot live without them. Now is the time to get help.
It always pays to have an impartial adviser when attempting to determine whether or not you want to get your ex back. The right advice will go a long way in helping you heal a broken heart.
