Is there any differences between us? No, we all have the same opportunities in life, whether it be personally, in our career or business life, or maybe in a home business or direct sales and marketing, they are out there ready for us to grab hold of and take advantage as best we can.

The thing is we have to take responsibility for our choices. You have a personal responsibility for where you are right now. Ask yourself who is responsible for your results in your life, your current career or home business and personal circumstances?

Stop and think about it now! Everything you do or have become is your choice, whether it be good or bad. And everything that exists in your life is because of you! Your behaviour, thoughts, words and actions. We all have the freedom of choice so you alone are completely responsible for your personal and home business success and failures, your happiness now and in the future.

This is one of the most important discoveries you will have, it is what separates the adult from the child and helps you take that huge step forward into maturity.

Personal responsibility is the hallmark of a fully functioning, fully integrated human being, when all is said and done personal responsibility goes hand in hand with success, achievement, motivation, happiness and self awareness, especially when you are working in your own home business

It is an absolute pre-requisite to help you achieve all you desire out of life. It starts by accepting that it's up to you and no one is going to do it for you, or rescue you from your situation to help you create the successful home business you set out to have.

That is where you start to create the highest level of performance, when you can see the true results of your efforts. It has been said "If I want to succeed it's up to me" and only you can make those decisions and changes that are in your best interests, personally and in your career or home business.

If you don't take personal responsibility you tend to make excuses, blame people or other things outside of ourselves for what's happening in our lives. If everything we do is by habit then this too will become a habit of avoiding responsibility.

Some people when setting personal and business goals will create an excuse ready made to cover their arse when something becomes difficult or harder than what they thought it would be, they pull out this excuse when it suits them and let themselves off the hook, which we know will be NO good for them or their home business in the long run.

The law of cause and effect tells us that every thing that happens can be traced back to the original cause, in many cases this can be duplicated to help us create the life we want, or to make excuses why you don't achieve those home business and personal goals you have set for yourself.

Your health for example, you know that you can learn from others about what the correct diet is, what activities and exercise will help you maintain the best level of fitness. Then it's just a matter of implementing them and sticking to this new regime, by taking and accepting personal responsibility you will enjoy a long and healthy life.

The same goes for your career or home business, no matter if it's a new or well established home business, a small bricks and mortar business or something in direct sales, MLM or whatever. You need to find a mentor and team, mastermind regularly, set yourself goals be accountable by making them known to your team and take personal responsibility and you will achieve whatever it is you set out to do in your life and home business career.
