That is the question of the day! Have you ever wondered where to find a partner or how your business could benefit from one? I am one of those people that really needs a partner. Not a partner that will tell me what to do but a partner that I know I will have to tell what I have been doing!
I found an accountability partner last year! We have become great friends and have seen each other through ups and downs personally and professionally! I am so grateful for her because we meet a few times a week. We brainstorm, set goals, review and evaluate how we have been doing with our businesses. When we need each other in between our appointed accountability call we text each other on Skype.
So why am I telling you all of this? The reason is because we have been approached a lot with questions about how accountability partners work, when do you meet and so on.
The first thing you need to ask yourself it do you need a partner? If you feel you can benefit from one than you need to go on the hunt to find one that will work for you! I think the best place to find one is in a mastermind group. Even better, a mastermind group that you have to pay for. The reason why is you will find people there that are very serious about their business and really want to succeed.
What next decide together how things are going to work for both of you. Talk about the purpose of your partnership. Also talk about what you will do if things don't work out! Make sure you are both in agreement with this. Schedule times that you will meet and be respectful of each others time.
So do you need an accountability partner? You decide!
And now I would like to invite you to ask us your questions about accountability partners.
