In this world there are a lot of man made created religions out there falsifying God's word. What can you make of it all? Well then this is the way to finding the truth that God wants you to seek. He wants you to pray to Him and ask for Him to direct your path to what you need to know. At times it may be just be still, looking up a bible passage or just meditating on Him.

Followers of false prophets

When you follow something or someone that is not of God it is a false prophet. When you worship a material thing or person that is false worship- that is lies. Some spiritual leaders teach about being successful and having money in your life. But really, did Jesus? if you want to follow the path of a true leader of your heart and life, look at what he did, study that. He didn't teach anyone to worship the earth, stones or man made things, He took His ministry to the people and spoke to their hearts. That is what you need to think about in your life, what am I following? Does the money really satisfy me? Are you happier because you have it? Are you spiritually fulfilled and if you are, how long do you think it will last? God wants you, not your things, not your money but your worship. Be glad for what you have and be blessed by it.

Bible teaches about prophets of God

Many prophet teachers in the old testament were God's chosen to speak to the people to warn them. One of the great Prophet teachers is Ezekiel. He was a forewarner of false prophets. look up Ezekiel 13, he is telling the people about the false prophets that were trying to be popular by saying what the people wanted to hear at that time. The road to God's kingdom is one way- through Jesus, look only to Him in humbleness for worship and your life will never again be the same.
