Do Fad Diets Work?

More and more people in America are getting fatter and fatter. They are realizing they must do something about it and go for the fad diets, tea diets, and grapefruit ones, on and on. Do they work you ask? Yes of course, they all work, just ask the people that is selling all the junk that you will buy. Stop the insanity of it all, they do not work. Not even Jenny Craig, the Atkins diet, none of them. Why? It's very simple once you get of the diet, you will gain the weight back and then some.

You see the stars looking wonderful and you want to look just like them, come on now, you know deep down inside you will never look like that. Some will go as far as almost killing themselves to have a svelte body and this included men as well as women. So what is the answer you ask? Number one rule is to lose the word 'diet' in your vocabulary, never use it again as long as you live.

The word diet conjures up so many false ideas in the brain, it becomes an obsession to lose weight on the 'diet' and that type of thinking will make you fail. Try using the words such as more exercise, eating healthy and drink a lot of water. And the scale, do not step on that scale maybe twice a month. When you do so every day, you will become discouraged because you do not see any results. Throw away all of the supplements you have bought and do not buy them ever again. Stop wasting your money instead buy wholesome foods that are good for you and they will help you to lose weight, honest.

It will take a bit longer but in the end, eating right, exercising, it all will start to show. Think about how you will feel when you see those first ten pounds come off and all you did was eat right. Spend that hard earned money of fresh vegetables, fruits fish and lean meat. Stay away from refined sugar that seems to be the real culprit here. You can even allow yourself a bit of dark chocolate. It won't harm your losing weight and it is good for you. Just be sure it is the good quality of dark chocolate, and no milk chocolate. Remember it took awhile for you to gain this weight; it will take time to get off too.
