If there is no any problem in it, you are quite lucky, but you had better to learn something about that. It is still useful for you, I am sure. In this article, I would like to share some defragmenting knowledge with you.

After using the computer for a long time, the files and available spaces are scattered in a mess by frequent restore and deleting operations. If you do not take it seriously, it may reduce the disk efficiency. And defragmentation is to put the restored files into continuous spaces to make the available space into a piece of complete area. Disk is like storage to restore and put. You should get rid of and clean up the useless stuff. And if there is something wrong with the disk, the defragmenting program can recover the beginning errors and problems, such as broken tracks. And reading and writing are the two working ways of disk, if they go wrong, it means that the disk itself is not good enough which has little relations with defragmentation.

And you should pay close attention to protect the disk. There are several cases you should avoid because they may have great impact on the performance of computer. First, do not collide among the disks. Any collision can harm the disk physical performance. And, do not format the disk lowly because such is a wasting operation that has negative effect on the usage of hard disk. You can feel free to perform the normal operation to disk, including advanced format. Besides, you should avoid abnormal shutdown as much as possible, it will harm your computer without question. Some others reasons, though you cannot shun, are definitely to affect the hard disk, such as sudden out of electric power.

All in all, you should learn not only how to defragment but also learn how to protect your disk from problems. Once any unexpected accident happens, you can click here to find ways to solve it.
