Discover the 5 Key Ingredients of An Effective Application Cover Letter

When it comes to the application cover letter, many people ponder what to write. Some forget that your future employer is the one reading it. So, the way you introduce yourself, is the way the future employer is going to remember you. You don't want a boring, generic, or underdeveloped  cover. You want the correct ingredients that will capture and retain their attention. A cover that will explode their view of you and make them pick up the phone and give you a ring!

 1. So how do you do this you might ask? Simple, you begin by writing about yourself and your best qualifications about you and the job you seek. You see, your future employer is looking for some one that is bright, uplifting, and will potentially be a good and social employee. You may or may not be like that, but thats irrelevant. Right now you are trying to get this job, so be what you must. Begin your application cover letter by writing a headline that captures and "WOWs" your future employer.

 2. Analyze the job and its requirements. Can you meet them? Can you exceed them and bring even more to the company? Good! Now tell your future employer that. He or she must know that you can do much more than is required and are willing to.

 3. Match your resume to your cover. A simple task that many fail to do. Make sure that what you write in your resume matches your cover or vice versa. If your cover letter doesn't match your resume, you'll be screwed.

 4. Grammar and facts must be correct! A crucial part of your application cover letter and resume. We're all human and sometimes we can make mistakes, but going over your grammar and facts should be priority. A potential employer doesn't want to see mistakes in grammar or something that is false or inaccurate in your resume. It makes work ethic look terrible.

 5. The fifth and final ingredient to your cover is keeping it short. Correct, keeping it short and sweet and getting it to the point, will boost your possibility of employment.

Now all you have to do is create a sweet combination of these above "ingredients" and you will have a perfect and well done application cover letter.
