Let me tell you a quick story. In 2006, news reports contained information about an investment made by The Clinton Global Initiative (CGI). By partnering with a maker of water filtration devices, CGI planned to distribute tap water purifiers to large segments of the Chinese population. The company that joined forces with CGI happens to be a company that manufactures both tap water purifiers and also diagnostic kits.
Why is that significant? That fact holds great significance because the Chinese have witnessed an increase in the number of respiratory diseases among miners and their families. The Chinese need a better way to identify those respiratory diseases as early as possible. At the same time, Chinese officials want to act in another area of health care.
While dealing with the rising rate of respiratory diseases, Chinese officials must also act to prevent possible health problems, problems caused by contaminating matter in the water supply. The money from CGI promises to help the Chinese in that area. By they same token, the aid from CGI should facilitate the early identification of respiratory problems.
In 2007, CGI began shipping tap water purifiers to China. Trainers accompanied those shipments. Those trainers stood ready to help with installation of the purifiers and with establishment of health clinics. The trainers demonstrated to health care providers how to use the diagnostic kits. The trainers also showed some Chinese workers how to service the tap water purifiers.
How does that news about water purification in China relate to the average American homeowner? The average American homeowner wants an assurance that the water in his or her home will not destroy the taste of any food or beverage prepared in that home. Many American homeowners also own pets. They want to give their pets water that is safe to drink.
Younger Americans often choose to start a family. They then need to prepare baby formula and baby cereal. The preparation of those items demands the addition of water. The parent who is making baby formula or baby cereal wants to know that he or she has access to a safe supply of water.
Gardeners too look for a source of pure water. When gardeners can supply their plants with pure water, then they have greater confidence that those plants will thrive on that water. Contaminated water can have a pH level that diminishes the growing capacity of whatever plant drinks-in that water.
A healthy body needs pure water. By using tap water purifiers, homeowners can feel confident that family members in a home receive from the water the nutrients that they need. By using tap water purifiers, homeowners can abandon any concerns they might have about the ability of the drinking water to aid vital body processes, namely circulation and elimination.
When tap water is free of contaminants, those who drink that tap water can enjoy healthy skin. When tap water lacks dangerous chemicals, then that tap water can remove, rather than add to, toxins in the body. The homeowner who keeps those facts in mind searches for the most effective water purification system.
The homeowner normally launches that search with one overriding goal-to give each resident of the home the opportunity to enjoy clean, pure, great-tasting water. After careful study of published and online information about water purification, a growing number of homeowners decide against using one of the cheaper tap water purifiers.
A growing number of homeowners have chosen to use activated carbon filters with ion exchange and micron filtration. Such a system eliminates from the water both dangerous chemicals and also harmful micro-organisms. Tap water purifiers that rely on such a system have come to be recognized as the home owner's safest choice for effective delivery of pure water.
