We all understand of course that muscles are trained by being forced to contract.

So, when you use what is referred to as a whole body vibration exercise machine, the muscles of your body are responding to the resulting vibration stimulation and are therefore forced to contract, which naturally makes them stronger.

This vibration stimulation that they receive is similar in some ways to that received when using stationary bikes, but with the huge benefit of the user having to use up a lot less effort.

When muscles do grow bigger and stronger, they naturally need a solid base to build on. By solid base here we are naturally talking about bones, and these bones, surrounded as they now are by increasingly stronger muscles, will grow stronger themselves.

The growth and development of this bone tissue is most usually controlled by the amount of strain that the surrounding muscles place on them. And so, the stronger your muscles get, so as a consequence the stronger your bones will become, with all the added benefits that brings.

Let us look at the simplest of exercises, namely running or walking. When you run or walk, in order for your muscles and bones to benefit, your body has to be subjected to what could be a serious stress, with the limbs moving horizontally.

Then, to carry the point on, when you climb stairs or do sit-ups, or press-ups, your body has to move vertically.

However, when you use a vibration exercise machine, both of those horizontal and vertical movements are achieved at the same time, but without going through the same amount of work, or having to expend the same amount of time and effort.

This means that you can either exercise for shorter periods with improved results, or for longer and more often, without straining your body or mind, with even greater results.

The two points really to bear in mind here are that you can achieve improved performance and results with less effort, and it can all be achieved in a shorter period of time. And, has been touched on, with less strain on both body and mind.
