Different Kinds Of Bingo Cards
Print This Article Ezine Publisher Send To Friends Add To Favorites Post A Comment Suggest Topic Report Author

The popular game of chance and strategy of Bingo is played with game cards that are widely known as Bingo cards. These cards may have pre-printed numbers on them to they can be entirely blank. They can be made of paper or other disposable material which are good for recycling. The Bingo card is no longer valid once the game is over and can be thrown away.

On the other hand, there are organizers who used a different kind of Bingo cards. The player for more than one game can use these game cards, typically made of plastic of hard cardboard. This is because the material used is tougher and the player only has to keep tab of the numbers played by using removable tabs. This can mean a reduction in costs for the organizers in the long term as the Bingo cards can now be reused.

In addition, there are others who use a shutter or fingertip card, pre-printed hard cards whose plastic shutters can be shut every time a number is called. These Bingo cards are built for multiple use and eliminate the need for markers.

For each game, every player will be given one Bingo card which has a 5 x 5 grid, consisting of 25 squares in total. Every square is assigned a number except for the middle square which may be imprinted by "free" or "Bingo". This indicates that the free number is a bonus to the player as it can be used for any number being called out.

Usually, the very first column from the right of the card is assigned the letter "B" and contains 5 numbers from the range of 1 to 15. Then the remaining four columns are assigned with the letters, "I", "N", "G", and "O". The 2nd column will contain 5 numbers from the range of 16-30. This sequence goes on for the remaining 3 columns till the last column contain 5 numbers in the range of 61-75.
