When people start an exercise program their ultimate goal is usually to get a toned six pack. The truth is that a six pack is one of the hardest things to get. Your belly fat is almost impossible to get rid of unless you follow a strict diet. Dieting is not very popular; in fact, it generally ruins a good mood. Not eating what you want can be a bit of a turn off to your tummy.

If you want to get a toned flat stomach then you are going to have to start making better choices when it comes to food. The best way to start making better food choices is to prepare your meals in advance. If possible, prepare your meals a night before so that you will already know what foods you will eat. If you cannot prepare them then plan ahead so that you will know where to eat. If a fast food restaurant is your last option then always get the chicken salad, most fast food places offer this meal option.

When you set foot in a grocery store try to stick with lean meats for your main source of protein. You might also want to try yogurt and eggs as another alternative. Fruits and vegetables should also be part of your grocery list as they help to speed up fat loss.

As you can see, a healthy diet is essential for fat loss. If you want fast results then a healthy eating plan should be your main priority.
