Anyone that has been in a successful relationship knows that the road ahead is going to have plenty of twists and turns. Sadly, some relationships do not survive those. In many cases, you may still love your ex and your ex may still love you. If this is the case, then there may be a chance that you can save your relationship. If you are going to have any hope of getting back your ex you will need to find out where your relationship went wrong and take the necessary steps to make things right again.

The first thing that you will need to do is to deal with your own issues. It is very rare when a relationship ends and only one person is completely responsible for it being over. If you are one of these rare cases, cut your losses and consider yourself lucky. Take a look at what went wrong and see if the issues can be resolved. If they can not be, is getting back your ex important enough to you to be able to live with those issues and still be happy? The reason that I ask is because if the issues are not taken care of, they will continue to rear their ugly little heads.

If getting back your ex is still something that you think you want to do, you will need to find out where your ex stands. It may be as simple as the two of you getting together and calmly solving your problems. If your ex has absolutely no interest in working things out, then you are going to spend a lot of time climbing uphill and you are the only one that can decide if you are willing to do that.
