As the coordinator for a think tank which operates online I often find it interesting when people tell me they have crazy ideas, innovations, or new concepts, but nothing that I would consider revolutionary, or anything that might change the world. The reality is that only the crazy ideas are the ones that never do change the world, all the other ideas are simply incremental ideas, which refine the current methodology.
Crazy ideas are only crazy when they are original, and buck the system and status quo, but that is how all GREAT IDEAS and concepts start too. Think about that for second, then ask yourself; what are your five crazy ideas, and why do you believe they are valid, despite the obvious criticism, and what are your counter arguments to those naysayers.
Can your (5) ideas, innovations, concepts stand-up to the critics, or make them think and bring them on-board and in-line with your thinking? Tell you what, write down your ideas and put them onto your computer, and if you need someone to review them with you, send an email, let's discuss how to implement them. Maybe you just need a plan?
Why not use your people skills to help get others on the same page rather than have others busy attacking your concepts with slanderous comments against your political ideology, environmental mindset, or personal character? If you need assistance with this, perhaps we can discuss a few pointers of how to get this done? Why not put your mind to your keyboard and type up these concepts now. Just do it.
After all, if you have time to read this article, no doubt you certainly have time and space available for advanced thinking. Instead of allowing your best and perhaps most craziest ideas to merely slip away, maybe, it's time you did something with them? Just because you may be under-employed or in a dead end type job is no reason to sit idle on your ideas.
Even if your current work seems to be somewhat mindless, it is enabling you to have significant processing time to think up these concepts, see that point? Now it's time to do something about them. Time to take a stand, and come out with a plan, a strategy which will put your concept at the forefront, and put some points on the board. Remember the longer you wait to act, the longer the problems go unsolved.
Just maybe your idea could change an industry, or even the world; Crazier Things Have Happened.
