Could You Be an Online Writer?

Indeed you could - and it could be easier than you think. The reason why so many people try and fail to become an online writer is because they don't try hard enough to succeed.

In order to be a writer for online markets you need to be able to look for and find work. This is the first and most important step. Let's get this clear - you could be a sensational writer, but if you don't look for work on a regular basis you won't find it. Simple isn't it? But it is amazing how many people fall at this early hurdle.

When you first get started you should make things easy for yourself and look for a job that isn't going to present you with too many problems. For example, let's say you are an expert cook. Fair enough, then look for a job that requires you to write a handful of articles on various aspects of cooking. Don't look for a job which is asking for a one hundred page eBook on selling things on eBay.

It makes perfect sense to stick to what you know to begin with. Not only will you find those first few writing jobs a lot easier to complete, but you will also find yourself growing in confidence as you complete the first couple of jobs without any problems.

Once you have done that you will certainly have answered the question of whether or not you could be an online writer. But you can see from what we have learned so far that you need to persevere and keep on looking for work if you want to have a steady stream of it to tackle.

This is also quite often what separates those who are casual online writers from those who do it full time. And as you press on through your career and learn more about online writing, you can also start looking for better paying writing jobs. Contrary to what some might believe they ARE out there. You just need to raise your sights in order to find them.

So as you can see, it is up to you whether you want to become an online writer or not. And in much the same way, it is up to you how much you want to earn. If you decide you can do it, and the sky is the limit regarding earnings, then you have a good career ahead of you.
