Structuring the Doctor and Patient Interaction: - Even if the communication is 2 sided, doctors are the decision makers throughout the process. Patients have their share of decision making while choosing the doctor or choosing the treatment based of the cost involved. Taking everything into consideration, it can be concluded that doctors have a large role towards structuring their interaction with patients.

Some experts suggest that the time spent by an average patient has increased but this is more related to the awareness of health related risks and ease of the treatments provided. Not only the treatment procedures have changed, but the way in which patients are treated has also changed making this sector more oriented towards patients. This change is largely to the communication involved between the two factors (doctors and the patients).
