From the time I think I was born, I think "fatigue" should have been my middle name. Actually, my parents probably should have nick-named me "CF"... short for "chronically fatigued". I had no energy. My mom said when I was a baby that I would fall asleep anywhere. I didn't care where I was. I have a picture of me standing up in the back seat of our car sleeping. Not sure how I managed that one, but hey, I was tired.
I struggled with chronic fatigue growing up as well. After school, I would often come home and take naps. My mom worried about me as she was a "type A" personality and woke up at 5:00 a.m. every morning and didn't go to bed until 11:30 at night, after the news was over. I however, needed 10 to 11 hours of sleep a night to feel rested.
Anyway, this chronic fatigue didn't become a problem for me until I had a child. Well, if you are a parent, you know what I am talking about. And I happened to be blessed with a "Type A" child as well. She could go to bed at 11:00 at night and get up at 7:00 a.m., no problem. I absolutely had to do something about it. There was no way I could keep up with this little bundle of energy.
I remembered back when I was in my early 20's when I struggled with a bad case of bronchitis so I started juicing carrots which absolutely helped me with my chronic fatigue (as well as my bronchitis and cough). The only problem was that I had an extra hour of work during the day... between the preparation of the juice... and the cleaning up of the carrots and the juicer. And the thought of buying carrot juice each day, as expensive as it is, just didn't fit into my budget. However, if it does fit into your budget, I highly recommend drinking carrot juice to help with chronic fatigue.
So I searched out other alternatives to help my chronic fatigue. I came across "apple cider vinegar" ("raw apple cider vinegar") and that did the trick. It is cheap and it cured my "chronic fatigue". The only thing is, you have to drink it through a straw. If you don't, your teeth will suffer. Also, add it to apple or grape juice to hide the taste more.
