Chop Shops For Ships and Other Pirate Tricks

If your car gets stolen in New York City, you are pretty much SOL. Your car will be driven out of the city and it will either be put into a cargo container to ship to another country, or it will hit a chop shop and within a few hours it won't exist any longer. Luckily, some people have OnStar, which can shut the car off if someone tries to steal it.

Of course, if that happens in New York City in the middle of the road, your car will be hit by a taxi cab as the car thieves get out and run away. And then your car will be damaged and it will be towed to an impound yard, and you'll have to pay for all of this.

Okay, so we know what happens when a car gets stolen in New York, and what the car thieves intend to do with it, but what happens if the Pirates steal an entire ship; perhaps, a cargo ship or an oil tanker? Well, if you've ever thought of something like this, and wondered where on earth the Pirates can hide an entire ship. I have a great thriller fiction book I'd like to recommend to you. The book is called;

"Dark Watch" by Clyde Cussler

Now then, without getting too much into the story, or giving it away; the author has put forth a very interesting potential eventuality of a chop shop for Ships. Literally a floating facility that can house an entire oil tanker; the oil can be taken out, and the ship can be cut into scrap in a very short period of time.

That was just one of the most interesting things I've ever read in a fictional novel. The story is very complex and intriguing, and if you like spy novels with lots of twists and turns this is definitely the book you should buy and read. Please consider all this.
