Choosing Baby Safety Monitors to See Your Baby at All Times

Baby safety is the number one objective when it comes to parenting. When you aren't able to stay in the bedroom while your child is sleeping, having baby safety monitors is the next best thing. They come in models that use video, audio, digital, wireless, remote control, and even motion sensors. The information that you are going to find below includes descriptions of all these various kinds of monitors on the market today.

Video Baby Monitoring - Being able to view your sleeping child on your PC is an amazing accomplishment in the technology of today. These monitoring devices cost from 60-260 dollars. Not only can the child be viewed on a screen, but an email can be sent directly to the computer, notifying a parent of a change in the baby's motion. Text messages are also able to be sent to a phone, with these same devices. Many video baby monitors come with a hand-held viewing device, but some do come with a larger monitor for watching your child on.

Remote Control Version - Remote controlled baby monitors allow parents to sooth their children from afar, by sending little lullabies over the monitor. If this doesn't seem to work, there are also the options of activating lights on the monitor or playing soothing nature sounds. These range between 60-200 dollars, and can be extremely helpful.

Audio Types - The original models of baby monitoring systems were strictly audio. These are generally the cheapest today, costing from 35-70 dollars. Many of these systems come with two receivers and have a room thermometer in the monitor. Quite a few models offer a night light, but very few actually have an automatic shut-off on the light when it's daytime. The range of these monitors is generally 400ft to 1000ft, the longer ranges allow parents to venture outside if needed.

Baby monitors are every new parents savior. They allow you to feel secure when you cannot be present. While the baby is sleeping or in the crib it gives you a chance to have some alone time. The greatest invention to newborn parents is the video baby monitors
