When buying a bunk bed from online or offline retailers you always get a childrens section. They focus more on safety and the visual design to look like something that kids could relate to. A recent survey has shown that most kids prefer what a bed actually looks like that if it is comfortable or is easy to climb into. Another study has shown that most kids choose a physical object for their bedrooms such as furniture and clothes based on what cartoon or film character it represents such as superman or batman.

From a health and safety perspective children's bunk beds need to pass industry regulations in order to be sold. Things that would be removed from some designs would be sharp corners, really high top bunk and dangerous ladders that need to be used to climb to the top bunk. If you want to buy a safe bed then you need to buy from the children's section of big retailer and they for sure are regulated.

My favorite design of a kids two floor bed is the batman design, it has a very dark theme but all the finishing touches leave no wood exposed. There are many figures attached and there is even a batman comic book story engraved underneath the top bunk. This allows the kid sleeping in the bottom bunk to read the story whilst lying down. This is just one aspect of the many that these types of new beds have to offer. Every day when doing my research online I see new innovations of kids beds that really keep adding more value to the industry.
