What we usually don't realize, is, subconsciously this can have a very negative impact on us. We can end up getting really down on ourselves because we may feel like failures because our children are not living up to our expectations!

Too many times, parents just some trying child disciplining altogether. This, of course, only makes everything we just discussed, worse. If you thought you felt bad about yourself before, once you start spiralling down in this manner, things can get really bad.
