About cheating:
Cheating is defined as an act of lying, deception and so on. It is creating an unfair advantage in one's own interest.
Some time ago cheating had a simple definition, but nowadays it is more complex and everybody has his/her own opinion, because we all have different standards. Before you want to try if grass really is greener on the other side, take a moment to think about WHAT are you doing and WHY are you doing this. It is the most important to know what cheating actually means.
We know two main types of affairs:
First is so called Romantic affair. Here are emotions the key. Both persons involved in this, feel like there is future for them.
The second on is Sexual affair where it is a purely sexual thing. It can all begin with innocent flirting and there are usually no real emotions involved.
Types of affairs
There are also some specific types of affairs:
- Conflict-avoidance affair: Those avoiders are usually nice people who are afraid to be anything but nice and have fear that conflict will lead to losing control.
- Intimacy-avoidance affair: Those couples are opposite of conflict avoiders. They are frightened of getting too close.
- Sexual addiction affair: Those people use sex to numb inner pain and emptiness.
- Split -self affair: Both persons in a relationship have needs to take care for others so their affairs are more serious and long-term. They are often deciding between marriage and affair partner.
- Exit affair: This is often called »equal opportunity« affair. Person is cheating to leave the marriage.

After passion of new romance has died down, people discover that it doesn't make difference than before and they find out that this was a big mistake. Effects of cheating
Once affair has been discovered, the effects continue for a long time. Sometimes partners stay together, but cheating causes a vast array of feelings, questions and problems to arise in a relationship. In this case you have to be prepared for a hard work to sustain what you have with a loving person and trying to get over this. It's delicate situation, but if you want this, you can do it!
