Catch a Speeding Bullet Trick

To make a good trick, you must show to your audience that you're going to use a real live gun. And the best way to convince them is by letting them to know! Ask one of the crowds to mark the tip of bullet for later identification.

Here's the magic trick! Make sure that bullet was being marked with a marker that you as the illusionist provided!

On Stage

Now watch your shooter guy! Make sure that he can't make any contact with you. That's right! This brings your job as illusionist will a lot easier. When your crowds see that you have no contact with the shooter, they can see there's no transfer of a bullet that has been made.

A distant space won't be enough! For making the magic trick more real, put a panel of glass or an apple between you and the shooter. When the shooter pulls the trigger, these objects will fall apart. And make the viewers believe that a bullet has been fired and struck the objects!

This way you as an illusionist can truly grasp their attention by showing your magic to catch a bullet! However, it's so essential to include a dramatic scene! Yup, a collapse act will work! It gives the impression that you're suffering a great stress of catching such a high-velocity object.

Put lots of suspense on the scene!

Now let's talk about the magic bullet trick itself. This act is actually so simple! The key is in marked bullet! That's right! You see, by hiding another marked bullet without the cartridge, off course, in the illusionist mouth or sleeve, this magic trick is 90% complete.

But this bullet must be marked with the specific detail with the one on illusionist hands! So when the shooter pulls the trigger, he will act like he has been catching speeding bullet, and spit it out in a plate. For dramatic effect, use fake blood or teeth.

And for breaking glass or object, use wax or clay bullet which actually hit the entire object including the performer! That's right! Since it's a wax or clay bullet, it won't even give the entertainer a dent!
