What's the best kind of advertising? That is a question businesses have been trying to answer for ages. But, it would seem to us that the best kind of advertising is the one that can provide you with bang for your buck. It should be affordable or at least cost effective, and it should introduce your brand to thousands of potential customers each and every day.
No, we aren't talking about the newspaper or radio or even TV. After all, studies have shown that those forms of advertising are not the most effective when it comes to the cost per thousand impressions. As you might expect, that is an advertising term or rather measurement that is used to gauge the effectiveness of certain kinds of marketing. And most of the traditional methods end up scoring pretty low on the scale.
Believe it of not, one of the most effective way to get your brand noticed is by purchasing a custom van wrap. What is a van wrap? Well, a van or truck wrap is nothing more than a digital printed image that is applied to the side or back of your company vehicle. Essentially, it turns it into a moving billboard.
The only requirement, of course, is that your company owns vans or trucks. If you do, it really is in your best interest to take a look at custom van wraps. Really, think about it. Your employees are driving your vans all over the town, or better yet the city, all day long. How many people do you think they pass on their way to a job or back to the office? A few hundred? A few thousand?
All of those drivers could become potential customers. In fact, it is not at all uncommon for a customer to see a van with a wrap, record the company phone number, and later call them with an inquiry about a specific product or service.
Advantages over Traditional Signage
To begin with, there is no permit or size restrictions on custom van wraps like there are on regular signs. And because they have wheels and an engine, vans can go where signs obviously cannot. Some companies even make money by renting out the space on their vans to other companies. These companies know the power and effectiveness of custom van wraps and they actually willing to pay for advertising space to companies that have large fleets of vans.
What should you look for in a custom van wrap?
* They should last at least 4 years depending on weather and UV exposure.
* They should be removable so that you can make changes, if necessary.
* They should be digital so that design choices are unlimited.
* They should offer any size or color the customer desires.
* They should be laminated so that graphics are scratch resistant.
* They should be affordable at about $100-$150 per square meter of design.
* They should be applicable to any surface, including minor dents, scratches, rivets and creases.
