Do you know if the candida purge is good in helping deep fungal infections? Candida purge is when you rotate your antifungals - and now, after caprol for 3 months and on Grapefruit Seed extract - a friend of mine feels that this method is quite powerful! She is sure that any 'deep' fungal problem would be cured with this way. Also, you may do the purge 2x a day instead of once if it is a severe infection.
However, someone has reported to have some problems especially with grapefruit seed extract. She still wants to try it out again. The problem she has is that her stomach pains really bad on the Grapefruit seed extract. It doesn't feel like die-off. Garlic doesn't work anymore and she is not taking antifungals. The Nystatin doesn't work anymore.
Her doctor suggested for her to try the black walnut and other herbs. She began taking a very strong blend of these antifungal herbs and it is triggering her period. What makes it worse is she doesn't know which of these herbs are the estrogen boosters. Olive leaf didn't work, nor oregano oil. It is such a frustrating situation. She snuck some Diflucan and it didn't work either. She knows candida exists but she is still confused on what to kill it.
I respond her about her die off. Don't be so sure it's not die-off in your gut. She has a friend who is having the same thing right now, and she just started the GSE, too. There are similar pains with juicing, too. As the Candida sets up its main 'HQ' in your intestines, it's only natural to get a strong reaction when you attack them in their stronghold.
I would recommend you take both Homozon and the GSE. Maybe work into the GSE if the reaction is quite strong. She has liquid GSE and it's very easy to moderate the dosage to reduce die-off pains. She is taking plenty of it daily and getting headaches, stomach pains, dizziness, etc. Die-off symptoms aren't necessarily ones you have with Candida before die-off.
Homozon should be good, from what I understand of it; it is being an oxygenator of the digestive system, as fungus and anaerobic bacteria cannot survive in a high oxygen environment.
