Can You Really Cure Sweaty Hands?

Some of us suffer from sweaty hands because of certain stressful situations. These types of situations include having to give a speech in front of a crowd of people, performances of various types, meeting someone new, or various other circumstances that make people uncomfortable. This condition passes and is soon forgotten, but there are a handful of people that work hard to hide their recurring sweaty palms problem. These people live their lives with a declining amount of confidence, little to no self esteem, and constantly seeking a solution. Their desire is to cure sweaty hands and live normally, not afraid to shake the hand of another person.

The scientific community recognizes this problem as "palmar hyperhidrosis," but they do not know what causes it. Without the root cause, medical professionals are only able to recommend treatments that may or may not give a person continuous relief. The most recommended treatments are antiperspirants, Botox injections, and iontphoresis. The cons, as stated above, is that all remedies do not work for everyone. An over the counter antiperspirant is averaged to help about a third of the people who suffer. Botox seems to have more cons than pros, but some people are willing to pay anything to stop excessive sweating.

Botox is an expensive procedure compared to over the counter antiperspirant, but a treatment is supposed to last for four to eight months. Each treatment costs about $700 to $1500 for both hands. These injections may cause muscle weakness in the hands temporarily. These issues may seem like nothing compared to the continual embarrassment of sweaty palms, but Botox does not cure sweaty hands.

Iontphoresis is a procedure that involves the patient sticking their hands into a tray of water and allowing an electrical current to pass through their hands. The purpose of this is to have the outer layer of skin on the hands thicken which prevents sweating. This treatment may be considered attractive because it can be done at home. The downside is that you must perform this task several times a week, but eventually, it is entirely possible that you will have results.

For those who prefer a more natural approach to cure sweaty hands, there is an herbal tea known as Hushed Sea. If you want a gentle method that will benefit your body and one that will bring quick results, this may be the one for you.
