Quick weight loss is possible in one of two ways. First, if you are exceedingly overweight, you will lose several pounds very fast when you change your diet. Second, you can starve yourself to lose weight in a short amount of time.

The quickest form of weight loss that has proven to be the healthiest is converting to a diet of fruits and vegetables - cutting out all meats and sugars. Fresh fruits and vegetables are essential for this type of weight loss, but you also need to add fresh nuts - those nuts that are not processed - so that you also get protein and fiber that you need.

You also must exercise. Take a thirty minute walk twice a day or visit your gym for at least half an hour. Exercise doesn't have to be strenuous. For the purposes of losing weight, the objective of exercise is to burn calories - not to shape and tone muscles, although that is something that you will eventually want to do. But if faster weight loss is important, spend the majority of your exercise time burning calories, and not shaping and toning muscles.

The important thing is that you do not starve yourself. If you go with the starvation method, you will lose weight, but you will be creating a whole slew of additional health problems - problems that are far more serious than being overweight - and you will also regain the weight very fast once you start eating again. You will also gain additional pounds in most cases. Quick weight loss is possible, but it should never be dangerous.
