Can Antioxidant Supplements Be Used For Anti-Aging?

Antioxidant supplements have long been touted to provide anti aging medicinal benefits. But do they really have such properties? Can someone really avoid aging or at least slow down the process just by taking some simple supplements?

Antioxidant supplements can readily come in the form of Vitamins C and E, or various minerals like selenium and zinc. Another popular form is in that of beta carotene, which is a type of carotenoid. They help to maintain good vision, a sure sign of youth and vitality. You can further fight off the effects of aging from high blood pressure and cholesterol levels through the use of omega 3 fish oils. This supplement is extremely effective in lowering the incidence of these conditions.
