When it comes to the City of Cambridge, you will find that it is located in the county of Cambridgeshire in England. Cambridge is north of London and lies just east of Anglia. The general area is based on high technology and many new aged buildings. The university that is in Cambridge has many students and is a well-known school. The total population in town is over one hundred thousand and is still growing, because of the smaller towns in the area.  

History in town dates back to the Roman Empire, because of the evidence they found in the town. The farmstead was found by the Fitzwilliam College, which gave evidence of the Roman Empire being settled in Cambridge.

The town of Cambridge served as a tactical point for the Roman Empire. They used it for a military outpost that defended the River Cam. The history in this age that's found in Cambridge is kept in the museums in town. Roman settlement was called the Duroliponte and stayed there for a long time.  

If you want to see old history and historical buildings, you can still see the walls and roads that were made by the Romans since the AD 400. Today the city is still growing and under development, which will make it perfect for people to live there and visit for a vacation. Tourism is a becoming a big income to the city and now today, you can see that there are tons of new arts and old historical arts you can visit all year.

As you travel, you need some sort of transportation, which leads to finding a taxi or even bus routes. The in town transportation can be by bike or walking the streets to enjoy the different stores. You can also take the railway station to get to other towns and within town.
