I wanted to share with you a conversation about buying new rap beats online that I had with my work friend the other day. My friend, Ray, is a talented writer. He writes and doodles out different poem and rap ideas all day long. As a new idea comes to him, he records it on paper. I have read his material, and it is good. Recently I heard Ray rap his lyrics. Me. "This is true. But this beat you are buying is an original beat then? It is yours? That is got to be expensive. But I am interested in this concept. It is like the people who are good at making beats get a chance to put their beats to use, and people who are performers or rappers have music to match their lyrics too. Both parties walk home happy."
Ray. "Exactly. But there are not expensive at all. The beat is yours once you put it in your online shopping cart and check out. The beat is not sold in mass. You are the only one with the beat. It is yours."
