Buttocks Enhancement With Fat Injections - Why Not Use That Unwanted Fat?
Print This Article Ezine Publisher Send To Friends Add To Favorites Post A Comment Suggest Topic Report Author

Many methods have been used for buttocks enhancement or augmentation. Liposuction is one of the most popular cosmetic procedures. Why not use that unwanted fat? Most people have some unwanted fat that despite exercise and diet, it still remains. Many people perform exercises specifically for the gluteal area in hopes of trying to give more definition to the buttocks or to make the buttocks more contoured. Therefore, both goals can be achieved in one procedure.

Enhancing or augmenting the buttocks with fat has a lower complication rate than buttock implants. Fat is liposuctioned from unwanted areas and injected into the buttocks. Two of the most common areas that the fat is harvested from are the abdomen and the back. Multiple areas are liposuctioned and any liquefied fat is removed; only the solid fat is injected. After surgery for a limited time, sitting has to be monitored. The injected fat has to obtain a blood supply from the new area in order to survive. Since the fat is your own fat, there is no rejection. Fat that does not obtain an adequate blood supply is absorbed by the body.

Common fillers that are used in the face are not used for buttocks enlargement because of the volume that is needed to give an adequate result. Most fillers are packaged in syringes of .8 to 1.5cc. A much larger volume is needed for buttocks enlargement. The use of substances that have not been FDA approved should also be avoided. These procedures should only be performed by physicians.
