Do not be afraid to give a business referrals.

Let us say you meet someone that you wish to do business with, but unfortunately, you are not a good fit for this person. You, as a business person, should still want to help. Even if it means you might not get what you had hoped to get. More business.

By referring prospects that you personally can not help, you show yourself to be a strong business person. As a leader, willing to help not only the prospect, but also help the "competition".

Referrals such as this are really a win, win situation. You not only show the prospect your business maturity, you also show other business people that you are willing to work with them.

The chances that the other business person will return the favor are much better.One good referral can really boost your business. Also, you might find that other business people are referring prospects to you because they know you might be able to help them in the future. Having strong business ties are a positive for any business person.

And do not forget about that prospect. They will not forget you. If their situation or circumstances change in the future, you will be one of the first people they come to. All because you went out of your way to help them in the past.

So do not be afraid to refer. Referrals can be a strong tool for you to grow your business.
