Given the rising tide of pollution and global warming, combined with ever higher fuel prices, it is more important than ever that we work to develop alternative energy sources.

Water for gas or rather HHO generators are one workable solution to these issues. HHO technology entails producing HHO (or Brown gas) by electrolysis of water which is then fed into the car's air intake valve, making more power, lower emissions and better fuel efficiency.

Like any new technology, water for gas has its doubters who think that it is not a viable energy source on any sort of large scale but many governments have adopted HHO generators already, putting the lie to the claims made by skeptics.

South Korea has required the fitting of HHO generators into all commercial trucks in the country in an effort to reduce air pollution. For now, only commercial trucks are included, but other vehicles will be mandated to have these devices before long.

A North American company called Hydrorunner has obtained independent third party verification of the efficacy of their product. Due to the rising popularity of HHO generators, one manufacturer of these devices has become registered with the U.S. Department of Energy. Another is in the process of registering with the California Air Resources Board, or CARB.

These developments show that there is both great potential and great interest in HHO technology with its popularity to expand rapidly in the near future.
