A well created design will always be fashionable. As with painting and sculpture, the best designers make timeless objects. Such pieces are not only built to last, but pleasing to the eye. Without question, adding one of these to your living space would improve the room. A chair or table that will always be both functional and beautiful is a thing to behold.
Bruno Mathsson is an architectural style designer of furniture. He has been influenced by many people and things. Some of these influences include his own dad who built cabinets and the Swedish furniture trends of the time when he was alive. He designed furniture that instead of being boring became enchanted.
Mathsson ultimately was named as the father of the Swedish Modern design style. Currently, this style continues to be admired. A few of Mathsson's creations are now known as classics in interior design heminredning. More of his styles are even on display at museums worldwide.
One of these classics is the Jetson chair. The Jetson was first produced in 1966 for offices, but has become a staple in modern and urban design. The chair is often copied and adapted, but nothing can match Mathsson's original, thoughtful design.
Now a days there is a variety of colors and textures in which Jetson is available. Jetson chairs are available just for you if you want to match your sophisticated, urban decor. The range of fabric used is anything from leather to soft velor along with a wide range of colors which include warm tones (reds, oranges, pinks), cool tones (blue and greens) and all the colors in between them.
In the present time, designers do not necessarily stick to the old fashioned concept of a wooden chair. Many people love to sit on an item with the sleek feel of cold metal as a base. When searching for chairs, remember that their style should match your home, not the reverse.
Overall, urban design has come full circle. The term modern often means vintage finds. Don't allow your space to be limited by furniture (möbler) that has been manufactured in today's time. Classic furniture or updated versions of classics might just make the perfect piece for your space. The Jetson chair is the perfect example of a vintage design that can accommodate your urban sensibilities.
