You really like cashew nuts don't you. I think it's impossible not to. At least, in my reality it is. Do you like broccoli..? If the atmosphere in the room, before, was a little rowdy - when I asked if you like broccoli I would imagine that it became more "contemplative". How come? Probably, at least partly - and, I think, to a big part - because broccoli has a bad reputation.
A bad reputation with some people, or even a bad reputation with yourself - meaning you ate it when you were a child, and hated it then, or you have eaten it in some not-so-exciting contexts and disliked it and therefore judged that "broccoli is disgusting". But be open - because you might be wrong. It might be good with cashew nuts, right? And, if I tell you that you're going to do a salad, does that improve your opinion of the possibility of broccoli being good, or part of something good?
Let's go into the recipe.
For this broccoli cashew salad, you will need the following:
Broccoli flowerettes - 4 cups
Red onion - 1/2 cup
Bacon - 6 slices
Raisins - 1/2 cup
Cashews - 1/2 cup
For the dressing, these are the ingredients:
Mayonnaise - 1 cup
Sugar - 1/4 cup
Vinegar - 3 tablespoon
This is how you do it: Begin with frying the bacon - then crumble them and set them aside. Chop onions and broccoli - and put them both in a bowl.
Add to the bowl cashew nuts, dressing, raisins and refrigerate for a couple hours. Just before eating you add the bacon. Then you eat!
