Breast Augmentation After Losing Weight

There are all sorts of reason to go after breast augmentation, but one that may surprise you is desiring breast enhancement due to weight loss. It seems to make no sense. After all, the purpose of losing weight is to slim down, right? So why would a woman have a need to get breast augmentation after she loses weight?

Every Woman is Different

It should come as no surprise that every woman is different. For instance, some women have periods every 28 days, others every 30 days, and still some do not menstruate at all. Losing weight is no different. In this day and age of fast food on every corner and rich foods, many women are becoming heavier and heavier. When many women gain weight, their breasts enlarge as well. Suddenly instead of wearing a B cup, they are having to purchase a C or D cup. Then the day invariably comes when it's time to work off all of the weight that has appeared on your body. Many women, when they lose weight, discover that their breast mass is the first thing to go.

Why You Lose Breast Mass

Although they're revered by men and women alike, breasts are primarily made up of fatty tissue. When you start exercising and trying to lose fatty tissue in your stomach, you may pay the price in your breasts. Fatty tissue in your breasts can rapidly decrease, sometimes even before the fatty tissue in your stomach disappears, leaving you with smaller breasts. Some women have large enough breasts that they have back problems, so losing breast mass is a good thing, but other women are proud of their size D breasts and get frustrated when they realize that their breast size is decreasing during the weight loss process.

Getting Your Breasts Back

There are a number of ways to get your breasts back after you go through weight loss. Some women choose to go through the expensive and very painful route of getting breast augmentation. It is not unusual for a plastic surgeon to put breast implants into a woman who has lost 50 or even 100 pounds. Some women prefer having breast implants because they are able to not only have their breasts enlarged again, but are able to have them placed higher and made to be more "perky".

Other women, however, choose a different method. They use more natural methods, such as herbal breast enhancement products, to get their breasts back to the same size that they had it before. If you've gone through a large amount of weight loss, do not feel ashamed to want to have your old breast size back. Just make sure that you look at all of the options you have for breast augmentation before you make an absolute decision.
