So you are thinking about breaking up? By the time you have started thinking it is time to break up, things have probably disintegrated. But you are now trying to decide and wondering how much pain it will be surviving relationship loss.
It is always a risk but only you can make the decision to break up and if you think your lover is about to break up with you, it is recommended by many to break up with them first. Breaking up with someone you used to love is always tough. But often, breaking up can lead to better relationships.
If you are the one to break up with them, this puts you in a much better position. Now they are thinking about you and wanting you back. You have a good chance of being able to get back together.
So if you feel a breakup coming up, you should break up with them first. If you think there is still hope for the future.
So what if the breakup has already occurred? What should you do?
Surviving relationship loss is painful but doesn't have to last for a long time. You decide when you are ready to move ahead in life and start dating again. It is your choice so don't let the sadness of a breakup keep you down for long. 2 weeks is plenty to take things easy and get your ex out of your system.
Just don't let it debilitate you for too long. You are only hurting yourself if you do this. Start slowly getting out more and be social again. Have some fun and start doing some new things. Things you have always wanted to do. Staying busy is the best way to get over a breakup.
Hang out with friends and have some fun again. Be open to some new dates. Believe me you are much more attractive and your ex will be thinking about you when they find out you are still having fun and dating again without them.
