You may not know what a booklet label is, but it is very likely that you have come across one before... They are used on a lot of products today and are a way to store extra information on a label where space is limited. Have you ever purchased a product and the label pulls out to reveal a small booklet of information? Well that is a booklet label, they can be found on various items like containers for vehicle oil.
Products today are required to show a lot of information on their labels, these regulatory and usually multilingual details that must contain things like (ingredients, dangers and instructions). Depending on the size of the product in question it may not be possible to include all of the required information on a standard label. In order to incorporate all the required information important sales information is often left out because the 'legal' side cannot be left out.
This is where the Booklet Labels come in, the print space greatly and allow you freedom to tell the customers what you wanted to tell them and still keep all the legal information present. They are usually made up from a pamphlet or a booklet, this is then incorporated onto a pressure sensitive label and placed onto the product. It is kept in place usually by glue or it can be laminated to the product. The booklet can then be pulled out where it expands and shows all the included information.
They are also known by other names such as: Extended Content Label, Foldout Labels and many others.
