Bodybuilding and bulking up their muscle is something that more and more people are taking up as a pastime these days. It seems like you can't switch on the TV without seeing some fitness guru hawking his latest fitness system. It's a confusing world though, so check out our tips for bodybuilding and bulking up below.
Tip 1
Bodybuilding, bulking up, call it whatever you want, but the best way to go about it isn't in your home, with some piece of automated equipment. The best way is in a gym, using free weights. Something about the actual act of travelling to the gym and focusing your mind on your workout is like almost like a natural steroid for your muscles. You'll usually see much better results that way!
Tip 2
Do some cardio. Bodybuilding and bulking up may be quite strenuous on their own, but there's nothing worse than seeing some musclehead at the gym wheezing on the slowest treadmill setting because he spends all his time building his huge chest. The fact is, if you do a lot of cardio, your muscles will look better, and you will probably live longer, as the one muscle you NEED to bulk up is your heart.
Tip 3
Learn to love your nutrition bars. Unless you happen to work at home or be lucky enough to employ a full kitchen staff to cater to your food desires every minute of the day, chances are as someone who is bodybuilding or bulking up, you'll miss the occasional meal and halt your muscle growth. A nutrition bar can be the perfect answer. Be careful though, they are rarely as healthy as they claim to be, so you should only rely on them for food when you have no other choice.
Tip 4
The last of our bodybuilding/bulking up tips is to get into some creatine. Now creatine intake is a complicated subject that could fill an entire book, so we'll just give you the basics. Creatine is found exclusively in red meat, and is able to fill your muscles with more energy than it's physically possible for them to get from food. This means harder workouts and increased muscle growth, all by taking a simple supplement. Not bad huh?
