We have all heard about the new Federal Trade Commission rule where bloggers must disclose their financial ties with any company whose products or services they recommend in blog posts. It is amazing that so many folks object to this, because it ought to just be a common sense thing, and anyone with any integrity or ethics would normally mention such a thing.
Nevertheless, this new law or blogging rule against Buzz Marketing, makes me think that maybe we need new rules for journalists too. For instance, if a reporter writes a favorable piece for let's say President Barrack Obama, then they should state at the end of the article that they are a registered Democrat.
The public has a right to know if a reporter has given money to the DMC. Additionally, they should also use their real name, not a pen name. After all, if they are participating in political propaganda, then I'd say the public deserves to know that. Just as the public deserves to know when bloggers are paid to buzz products of certain companies.
If we fail to protect voters from buzzing political candidates, which will go on to serve our nation, then that is far worse than a mere solo blogger promoting some toothpaste company or doing a product review for a Tooth Paste company when they might have received a free tube of that funny tasting stuff. Are you beginning to see the hypocrisy of the news media, which was all for this new blogger ruling. Please think on it, we have a right to know.

Lance Winslow is a retired Founder of a Nationwide Franchise Chain, and now runs the Online Think Tank. Lance Winslow believes in full disclosure of persnickety democrat reporters. Note: All of Lance Winslow's articles are written by him, not by Automated Software, any Computer Program, or Artificially Intelligent Software. None of his articles are outsourced, PLR Content or written by ghost writers. Lance Winslow believes those who use these strategies lack integrity and mislead the reader. Indeed, those who use such cheating tools, crutches, and tricks of the trade may even be breaking the law by misleading the consumer and misrepresenting themselves in online marketing, which he finds completely unacceptable.
